The Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), in collaboration with the Lions Club of Bangalore Vijayanagar, District 317F, proudly organized a Walk for Dementia on 27th September 2025 at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, to mark World Alzheimer’s Day.
The event aimed to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, promote early detection, and encourage support for individuals and families affected by these conditions.
The walk was graced by distinguished guests:
- Chief Guest: Shri Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament, Bengaluru South
- Guest of Honour: Dr. C. R. Chandrashekar, Renowned Psychiatrist & Padma Shri Awardee
Through this initiative, DBIT reaffirmed its commitment to fostering social responsibility, community awareness, and mental health education among students and the public.
