Scope of Services
This site provides information regarding DBIT’s academic programs (B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Ph.D.), admissions, placements, and campus events. It also provides online application and fee payment tools.
Admission & Application
Admissions follow guidelines from AICTE, VTU, and the Karnataka Government (CET/COMED-K).
Providing false or misleading information during the application process may lead to rejection or cancellation of admission.
Fees & Payment Gateway
Payment Processing: Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. DBIT does not store your full credit/debit card details or net banking credentials.
Transaction Confirmation: A payment is considered successful only when a transaction ID is generated and displayed. Users are advised to keep a record of the transaction ID for future reference.
Convenience Fees: Payments made via the online gateway may be subject to additional processing fees or convenience charges as levied by the payment service provider or bank.
Payment Failure: In the event of a technical error where a payment is deducted from your account but not reflected in the DBIT system, please contact your bank and our accounts department with the transaction details.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Fees once paid for application or registration are generally non-refundable.
Refunds for tuition or hostel fees, if applicable, are governed by the DBIT institutional refund policy and the regulatory guidelines of the University/Government.
Duplicate payments made due to technical glitches will be refunded after verification, typically within 7-10 working days.
Intellectual Property
All content including text, images, logos, and documents is owned by DBIT or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or publication is strictly prohibited.
User Conduct & Access
Users must access the site legally and shall not:
Use automated bots to scrape or replicate content.
Engage in harmful or malicious activities that disrupt website functionality.

Migration Certificate from the University/Board last studied (for students other than Karnataka PU Board, CBSE and ICSE) - Original + 3 photocopies.
Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended – Original only.
Medical Certificate for ascertaining the blood group.
Passport Size Photographs with red background - 10 numbers.
Caste cum Income Certificate (for CET and Karnataka Management Students).
Seven years study certificate (for CET students only).
A copy of the students’ account details (if availing for scholarship offered by various Govt. bodies and private organizations).
Photocopy of Aadhar card - 2 numbers.
