The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, in association with AICTE IDEA Lab and WilaniOS Tech Forum, successfully conducted an Interactive Hands-on Workshop on Natural Language Processing (NLP) as part of the IGNITE AI 2026 innovation series on 12 March 2026 at the DBIT Campus.

The workshop aimed to provide students with practical exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), one of the most transformative fields within Artificial Intelligence. Participants gained insights into how machines understand, interpret, and process human language, enabling innovations in areas such as intelligent chat systems, automated communication, and AI-driven data analysis.

The session was led by an esteemed panel of resource persons including Dr. Reshma S, Prof. Kavya D N, Mr. Vishnu K (Product Engineer, Consilio), and Ms. Deekshitha M (Associate System Engineer, IBM). The experts shared their industry experience and guided students through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions on NLP applications.

Students actively participated in the hands-on activities, exploring real-world AI use cases and learning how NLP technologies are shaping modern digital solutions.
