Don Bosco Institute of Technology proudly marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of the AICTE–IDEA Lab on 11th March 2026 at 10:30 AM. This state-of-the-art facility has been established with a generous funding support of ₹0.9 Crore from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aimed at nurturing innovation, creativity, and practical learning among students.

The AICTE–IDEA Lab is designed to provide a collaborative environment where students can experiment with design thinking, prototyping, and real-world problem-solving. Equipped with advanced tools and modern infrastructure, the lab will empower students from various disciplines to transform their innovative ideas into working prototypes and impactful solutions.

The inauguration event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and distinguished guests, all celebrating the beginning of a new era of experiential learning and innovation-driven education at DBIT.

With the launch of the IDEA Lab, Don Bosco Institute of Technology reinforces its commitment to promoting research, encouraging start-up culture, and enabling students to develop practical skills that address real-world challenges.
