Webinar on "Heterostructures from two-dimensional van der Waals materials and their optoelectronic properties"
A webinar on “Heterostructures from two-dimensional van der Waals materials and their optoelectronic properties” was organized by Department of Physics, DBIT on 25th June 2021 with Dr. Kallol Roy, Research Fellow, Center for Advanced 2DMaterials, National University of Singapore as guest speaker. The presentation highlighted on unique functionalities, especially optoelectronic properties of various heterostructures made from 2D van der Waals materials. Especially heterostructures made from graphene and other 2D semiconductors such as molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) etc. was highlighted to demonstrate their extremely sensitive optoelectronic response which makes these materials suitable for photo detection and single photon counting applications.
