International webinar on "Integration of grapheme & semiconductors for optoelectronic applications"
A International webinar on “Integration of grapheme & semiconductors for optoelectronic applications” was organized by Department of Physics, on 12th October 2020 by Dr. Medini Padmanabhan, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Sciences, Rhode Island College. The webinar aimed to provide opportunities to faculty members and research scholars to enrich their knowledge in the field of present research. Towards the end of the session the participants were able to know that the electrodeposited Cds induces the photoconductivity in Graphene and Graphene MoS2 hybrids exhibit gate tunable optoelectronic memory effect. It was also interesting to know that presently computational studies are going on where the goal of the work is to understand how inclusion of piezoelectric can enhance TEG performances using COSMOL.
