Industrial visits represent an important activity in any engineering undergraduate programme and they contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and program objectives.
Industrial visits represent an important activity in any engineering undergraduate programme and they contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and program objectives.
The visit is planned to help the students achieve the following:
1. Recognize the process units – automated injection molding machines, a spray paint shop, and a section to assemble airbags and generate the process flow diagram.
2. Identify the input and output of different processes.
3. Experience the importance of working safely.
4. Understand how the product of the plant interfaces to the world.
