National Cadet Corps​
The National Cadet Corps is the Indian Military Cadet Corps with its Head Quarters at New Delhi. It is open to an enrolment of School and College students. The National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization that recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The Officers and Cadets have no liability for active military service after the completion of their course but, based on the achievements in the corps, are given preference over normal candidates during selections.
Principal’s Message
I am very happy to announce that a National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit would be established at Don Bosco Institute of Technology from the Academic year 2020-21. It is a long-awaited opportunity for DBIT students to be engaged in various activities under the umbrella of NCC. The students who undergo training at the NCC imbibe self-discipline, appreciation of hard work, leadership qualities, and a good value system. The NCC activities help in shaping them into dynamic and responsible citizens of the country. I am very confident that the NCC Unit at DBIT would be a platform for grooming tomorrow's citizens and leaders and inspire them in "Nation Building".

Aims of NCC
The aim is to cultivate essential qualities of character such as courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and sportsmanship among the youth, fostering their growth into responsible and engaged citizens. Additionally, we seek to create a dynamic resource of organized, trained, and motivated young individuals who can provide leadership across various fields, including the Armed Forces, ensuring that they are always ready to serve the nation. By instilling these values and skills, we aspire to empower the youth to contribute meaningfully to society and uphold the ideals of selfless service.
Oath
I do hereby solemnly promise that I will serve my motherland most truly and loyally, dedicating myself to the ideals and values that our nation upholds. I pledge to abide by the rules and regulations of the National Cadet Corps, understanding that these guidelines are in place to foster discipline, unity, and respect. Furthermore, under the command and guidance of my commanding officer, I commit to participating in every camp with sincerity and wholehearted enthusiasm. I recognize the importance of teamwork and camaraderie, and I will strive to support my fellow cadets, embracing the spirit of service and leadership in all my endeavors.

We, the cadets of the National Cadet Corps, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity and integrity of India, recognizing the strength that comes from our diversity. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizens of our nation, committed to the principles of honesty, integrity, and respect for all. In our endeavors, we shall undertake positive community service with dedication and compassion, embodying the spirit of selflessness and genuine concern for our fellow beings. We will strive to inspire others through our actions, fostering a sense of solidarity and support within our communities.
